How long does the initial setup actually take?

Most businesses with up to 100 employees are fully set up and running their first payroll in under 45 minutes. Larger organisations (100–500 employees) typically take 2–4 hours, including data validation and policy configuration.

Do I need to manually update tax slabs every year?

Never. Our compliance team monitors the Union Budget and updates all income tax slabs, surcharge thresholds, and cess rates before the new financial year begins. The changes are applied automatically — you don't need to do anything.

Can I migrate from my existing payroll software?

Yes. We support direct CSV import from Greytip, Keka, sumHR, Razorpay Payroll, and most custom Excel-based systems. Our Growth and Enterprise customers also get a dedicated migration specialist.

What happens if an employee joins or leaves mid-month?

Staffify automatically calculates pro-rated salary based on the date of joining or last working day. Full and final settlement calculations including gratuity, earned leave encashment, and notice period deductions are handled automatically.

How does the biometric integration work?

We support all major biometric device brands (ESSL, Realtime, ZKTeco, Suprema, Matrix) via direct API or push-data integration. Attendance logs sync automatically every 15 minutes. We also support manual attendance upload via CSV if no biometric device is available.

Is my employee data safe on Staffify?

Absolutely. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We are SOC 2 Type II audited, ISO 27001 certified, and GDPR compliant. Data is hosted on AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) region — your data never leaves India.
